Our National Anthem and post-race, live entertainment, will be provided by Kayla Kroh again this year!!
Kayla Kroh began taking voice and guitar lessons from local educator and performer Heather Sneeringer in August of 2010. These lessons sparked a fire that led Kayla to attempt writing her own songs. With the help of producers Bobby Gentilo and Jason Hoffheins, she got in the studio and brought the songs to life. The result is her first E.P. release entitled "On Your Own". This five song effort combines her songwriting and singing abilities with a talented group of seasoned musicians to create a mature and polished product that belies her young age.
Kayla started honing her craft while performing regularly at an open mic in York. And at the age of 14, her persistence has already started to pay off. In 2011, she was a featured performer at Jam on the Hanna in Wrightsville, PA, Summer in Paradise at Naylor Winery and First Fridays at Central Market in York. Kayla was honored to perform the National Anthem for the York Revolution during their regular season and playoffs in 2011, and was asked back to kick off their 2012 season at Fan Fest.
